Happy New Year!…random thoughts…and of course shop news

Happy New Year from our house to yours!

So hard to believe another year has gone by! Last year was definitely a very busy and interesting one…not at all what we planned but, then again, life rarely turns out the way we envision it LOL! I discovered several things about myself in 2017…mainly that I’m not as young as my brain says I should be 😀 …also, I pretty much stink at keeping up with shop social media! (as is very apparent from my lack of blog posts and website upkeep lol!) In my defense, I have been very preoccupied for the past several months with helping watch my, oh so sweet grandsons 🙂

BUT…you know what they say…”New Year, New Me” …or something like that. We shall see. I’ve spent the past few weeks doing some much needed website “clean up”, freshening up Etsy listings and trying to be more active with posting on Facebook and Instagram …WHEW! …AND …The “Knot Worker” (AKA my husband) and I “took the bull by the horns” so to speak, and got our shop inventoried, cleaned and organized …DONE!! FINISHED!!! before Jan 1! Yeah, I’m pretty stoked about that one 😉 and the fact that I’m SO close to having our tax paperwork together… Now if I can just stay ahead of the game and keep up.

Now for shop news…Changes are coming slowly by surely to the look of our Etsy shop. Along with adding several new items, we have been working with Kyle Brown Photography to reshoot all our listings…it’s gonna take awhile but it will be worth it! We are already so pleased with what we’ve gotten so far. Check out these shots of some of our new products!

First up is our Autism Awareness Paracord Person…notice the little puzzle bead added to the key ring. This is a great gift idea for anyone who has or knows someone on the spectrum. You might be surprise at how many lives are touched by autism. Side note, if you haven’t discovered the TV series “The Good Doctor”, it’s a MUST see 😉

Next, is a favorite of mine…stenciled LOVE knots! I just LOVE how they turned out! Did you know that I can stencil any word on a set of knots just for you?

Of course including a redesigned wedding knot was a must. The way the cotton and manila ropes compliment each other in this styled shot is just gorgeous!!

Lots more coming soon so be sure to check back!

The “Knot Worker” and I wish you all the best in the New Year and we are looking forward to many more changes for High Plains Knot Work in 2018…Thanks for stopping in!
